This is what it’s all about. Whether you're chasing a PR or just here for the snacks and good vibes—enjoy the day, take it all in, and make some awesome memories!

P.S. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who doesn’t follow the kindness rule—or skips the waiver reading (rule #2)! 😉 

Q: I can't make it—can I get a refund?
A: We totally get that life happens! While we’re unable to offer refunds (most race costs are locked in ahead of time and non-refundable), we’ve got some flexible options for you. You can transfer to another race or even run virtually from wherever you are!

Just shoot us an email at info@run2befit.com with your name and the race you registered for ($10 to transfer to another race or mail packet), and we’ll help you find the best alternative. We’re here to keep you running, even if plans change!

Q.  You canceled, can I get a refund?
A.  In an effort to promote the health of our participants, we will not issue refunds in cases of severe weather (heat or cold), smoke, or pandemic, etc.

If we are forced to cancel the event due to unsafe running conditions we will immediately advise the participants.  We will host a virtual event and mail participants their race packets. We will not charge to mail race packets.

If the permitting agency/city cancels our permit, our goal would be to reschedule the date of the race. All race entrants will be automatically registered for the new race date. 

No refunds will be available. As per our waiver, "I understand that this event does not provide refunds in the event of cancellation...I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is canceled before or during the event."​

Q: Can I TRANSFER to another race if I can’t make the one I registered for?
A: Yes, you can! We totally understand that plans change. You can transfer to another race happening in the same calendar year—as long as registration is still open—for just a $10 transfer fee.

Here’s the fine print (but still friendly!):

• Transfer requests must be made at least 2 weeks before the race you're currently registered for
   
• Each registration can only be transferred once
   
• All requests must be made in writing
   

Just email us at info@run2befit.com with your name and race details, and we’ll help you get set up for your new event!

Q: Can I TRANSFER my registration to another runner?
A: Yes—you can totally pass the baton! 🏃‍♂️➡️🏃‍♀️ If you’d like someone else to take your spot, they’ll just need to pay a $10 transfer fee.

A few things to keep in mind:

• The request must be made in writing at least 2 weeks before race day

Because every runner deserves their moment at the start line. 🙌

Q: Do you offer pregnancy deferrals?
A: Yes—we absolutely do! 💕👟 If you become pregnant after registering, you’re welcome to defer your race entry to either of the next two years of that same race. Your health and journey come first!

As a courtesy, we kindly ask that you let us know at least 2 weeks before race day so we can make the necessary arrangements.
