We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Duwamish Tribe—past and present—the original inhabitants of this area now known as Seattle. We honor their enduring connection to this land and recognize their ongoing contributions to our community.
As part of this acknowledgement, we encourage support for the Duwamish Tribe through Real Rent Duwamish—an initiative that invites non-Indigenous people living and working on Duwamish land to contribute rent as a meaningful step toward justice and recognition.
Online registration will close approximately two days prior to the race date, or earlier if the event reaches capacity. We encourage participants to register as soon as possible to secure a spot and to take advantage of the best available rates.
We welcome new participants! Cash or credit cards are all accepted. Please note, that there is an additional race day fee. Please arrive early to register on site.
*unless capacity has been met and we are SOLD OUT.
This means participants are welcome to run or walk at their own pace, with or without a costume, simply show up, enjoy the course, and have a great time. Our events are designed to be inclusive, fun, and stress-free, allowing everyone to participate in the way that feels best for them.
Please note that we do not host formal awards ceremonies. While some events may acknowledge overall male and female finishers, this recognition is not guaranteed and may vary by race. Our primary focus is creating a positive, community-centered experience where enjoyment comes first.
Our races are GUN TIMED.
Both gun time and chip time are important methods for timing a race, and they serve different purposes. Gun time is typically used for the overall winners of the race and for tracking course records, while chip time is used for determining age group and category winners. GUNTIME: Refers to the time it takes to finish a race from when the starter's gun is sounded until crossing the finish line, irrespective of when the competitor actually starts running. * CHIPTIME: – Refers to the time which it takes an individual to cross the start line and finish line.
Please allow for human error as our races are fun runs. We will not update placements in a fun run. Thanks for understanding.
If we do not meet the minimum 150 paid registrations, we will manually time.
Results will be posted on the corresponding webpage page. Please do not request results within a week - be patient!
